The New Skim City
Size matters. We were able to get a much bigger place with out paying that "beach-side rent". Plus, now we are only about 4min from 95, so when people are heading up or down 95 they can stop by without really going out of their way.Looks like you have a ton more space?
We sure do. We went from about 750sq/ft to about 2400sq/ft. Now we have the lounge area with a big-screen TV, PS4, leather couch and big leather chair. We also have a 4ft halfpipe to skate. The barbecue and after party to the Boardwalk Blow Up was a blast, will you be doing more stuff like that in the future?
Seemed like everyone had fun skating the ramp and enjoying some free food/drinks. I believe we will be seeing some more of that in the future.A question we all want to know. On average, how many skimboards does the shop have at a time?
Depends on the time of year. We are actually a little low now at only about 500 boards.Anything else you want to add about the new shop?
Thank you for all of the support and if you haven't been able to check it out yet, be sure to stop by and give it a look.More photos of the store and their first event below! Team riders John Akerman, Stephen Bradford, and Casey Ritzer ripping during the free skate session.
